The first hatch on the largest turkey hatchery of Russia took place.

The new Hatchery is situated in Ust-Donetsky district of Rostov Region.

The project capacity of the hatchery is 17,6 mln eggs per year.

The incubator is equipped with high-tech innovative equipment supplied by German company «Hartmann». The hatching machines are provided by «Petersime", Belgian company which is the world leader in hatchery production.

64 thousands of eggs were placed in special rooms at once. First turkey-poults hatched on 28 day of incubation and they were settled in special rearing farms.

The hatchery was built in a record time, the land planning and excavations started in August 2014, and already in May 2015 it became fully functional and started it’s work. This object is a part of a new wide scale turkey meat production complex, which will let “Eurodon” company to increase the production from 45 to 130 thousand tons of turkey meat per year.

Few years ago, Vadim Vaneev the head of the company, succeeded to attract 18 billion rubles to increase production capacity of the company. Project funding was approved by “Vnesheconombank”.

The implementation of the project on capacity increasing is now in process. Company is building new poultry objects on 30 sites which will be constructed for poultry farms, hatchery, meat processing plant, feed mill, logistic center and other supplying facilities.

Successful implementation of the project will allow to increase capacity of turkey meat production up to 130 thousand tons by the end of 2016.

This production volume will promote company not only on Russian market, but also up to the top five world’s largest turkey meat producers.

The launch of objects is made gradually. The complex objects are in different stages of completion. Feed plant is in progress, hatchery was already finished by the May 2015, mechanical installations go on as the equipment is set up at the meat processing plant.
